Dom Perignon 2006
Dom Perignon 2006
Dom Pérignon 2006 is a vintage Champagne made exclusively from grapes harvested in a year defined by a warm, dry summer and a perfectly timed late-season cool spell that preserved balance and acidity. Crafted from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir sourced from Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards, the wine matured for nearly nine years on the lees before its release in 2015. Upon release, it was admired for its generous ripeness, layered structure, and energetic tension, showing notes of stone fruit, citrus peel, white flowers, and hints of toast and spice.
Over time, Dom Pérignon 2006 has developed additional depth and complexity. The fresh fruit tones have evolved toward richer expressions of brioche, honey, dried apricot, and roasted almond, while the palate has grown more velvety and harmonious. The vintage now reveals a mature, expressive character that highlights both the warmth of the year and the signature precision and elegance of the house.
